The Transat Jacques Vabre is a transatlantic double handed sailing regatta that traces the old coffee route once heavily frequented in the 17th century by traders exporting coffee beans to the first French coffee Port, Le Havre.

Beginning on the 29th of October, around 100 sailing yachts across 4 classes will be racing across the Atlantic from Le Havre, France to the French island in the Caribbean, Martinique

With an impressive line-up of highly experienced skippers and race yachts, this competitive sailing regatta guarantees nail-biting duels on water and top of the class sailing.

For Boris Herrmann and Will Harris of Team Malizia it will be the second time they compete in this famous race together. They will be sailing onboard the Malizia – Seaexplorer, the race yacht they just recently broke a World Record with during the Ocean Race 2022/23.
