In an attempt to minimise the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the French President announced that the government has set up a containment system throughout France. As a result, the Vendée Globe Race Village will close from 30 October onwards.
The race will still take place, but without an audience.
We hope that you will all be there digitally on 8 November when Boris Herrmann starts in the Vendée Globe Race. The Malizia Team will broadcast the start live with a helicopter camera and the stern camera of the Seaexplorer-Yacht Club de Monaco.
More information on how best to follow the race will follow shortly.
