Besides skipper Boris Herrmann (40), British co-skipper Will Harris (28), Dutch sailor Rosalin Kuiper (26) and French-German videographer Antoine Auriol (37) will be on board.
Will Harris has already accompanied Boris Herrmann in two-handed races such as the Transat Jacques Vabre 2019 and will also assist the team as a meteorologist and navigator as well as in technical matters in the construction of the new boat. In the last edition of the Ocean Race, he worked ashore in race management and will now be able to fulfil his dream of sailing around the world.
The young Dutch sailor Rosalin Kuiper set herself the goal of participating in the Ocean Race seven years ago. She has sailed almost 55,000 miles in the last seven years - a distance equivalent two times around the the globe - and has successfully participated in legendary races such as the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and the Ocean Race Europe. Before becoming a professional sailor, Rosalin Kuiper competed at national level in track and field championships.
Videographer Antoine Auriol will be the Onboard Reporter (OBR) documenting the race and team activities. Antoine Auriol is a well-known television journalist who has created several documentary series for French television, but also a professional athlete: the professional kitesurfer became Kiteboard Pro World Champion in 2010.
